Award Description: The disparate jurisdictions of Calloway County and the City of Murray will use their Fiscal Year 2009 Recovery Act JAG Award in the amount of $34,447 to obtain a sufficient number of tasers to allow each deputy or officer to have one assigned to them. The City of Murray, serving as fiscal agent will use their share of the grant to purchase taser, air cartridges, and AR-15 Panther patrol carbines. Calloway County will use its share to purchase tasers, air cartridges, USB data software, maintenance and cleaning kits, and training air cartridges.
