Award Description: Fy 09 Recovery Act Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program: Local Solicitation
Project Description: Newark share of $40,000.-Vendors were contacted and items ordered. A portion of the canine items were received. One of the servers for the technology plan was received. The remainder of the servers, the peripherals, and operating systems will be shipped the week of 9/28. Installation will begin immediately upon arrival. The general data migration process and physical site installation should be completed by the week of 10/19. The desktop computers are scheduled to be shipped on 10/5. They will be installed at designated locations. Completion of this is targeted for 11/2. Heath- Council established a fund and appropriated $10,632. for the purchase of tasers and accessories. A purchase order was requested and order placed the week of 9/28. Licking County Sheriff- Received $30,418. and placed in fund. ALl items are are targeted to be ordered and paid by December.
