Award Description: Improve the quality of units by renovating 1937 Act units, address homelessness by completing a 3 bedroom homeless shelter, develop and implement a tenant training program.

Project Description: The Leech Lake Housing Authority is renovating units constructed under the 1937 Act that includes replacing roofs, installing rain gutters and raising the grade around the units. Complete a homeless shelter and develop a tenant training program. The activities include the completion of 16 roofs, the purchase of 1/2 of a modular unit for the homeless shelter and the hire of a program coordinator to implement the tenant training program.
