Award Description: Development and Manufacturing of Lightweight Textile Fire Barrier for Furniture and Mattresses
Project Description: Through this NIST SBIR Phase II program, Tex Tech Industries is developing furniture and mattress fire blocking materials. During this reporting period, Tex Tech Industries, NIST, and Georgia Tech have had the kick-off meeting and begun to develop the test matrix for different blends of material to compare to the Georgia Tech PAN/CNF fiber materials.
