Award Description: The Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program funds will afford Sarasota County the opportunity to prevent additional individuals and families from becoming homeless and provide help to those already homeless to be quickly re-housed.
Project Description: Sarasota County will work with non-profit housing providers to assist individuals and families with housing needs. Funding will provide for short- and medium-term rental assistance and housing relocation costs, and may be combined with job training, credit counseling, legal aid or other social services to develop a viable long-term plan for financial stability.
