Award Description: The project is a three year survey of nearby stars to find faint companions of these stars and to analyze their spectra to study the chemistry and atomspheric structure. Ultimately, we aim to image planets orbiting nearby stars. Deliverables are published research papers over the course of the project, as well as training of a graduate student and a post doctoral scholar.
