Award Description: The award will be utilized to fund 10 Victim Assistance Programs. These programs will deliver services to aid innocent victims of crime. Examples of services include therapy, legal advocacy, crisis counseling,followups,group treatment/suppport, shelter/safehouse, information/ referral,emergency financial assistance, assistance in filing for compensation, telephone referrals, hotline counseling,court accompaniments, etc. The programs will be required to file quarterly fiscal reports to ensure that all funds are spent on VOCA allowable activities.In addition, quarterly reports will be collected to ensure all program goals and objectives are being attained.
