Award Description: Construction Management Services for the Cafeteria Project at the Robert A Young Federal Building.Pre-Construction Services (of approximately 1-month) and CM Services (of 8-months) which will include; site office and associated home office support for contract coordination, scheduling support and Construction Management services. Cafeteria Project is for renovation and reconfiguration of the Cafeteria on the first floor of the RAY building. The project will consist of 2 Phases the Pre-Construction Services includes the Design and the Construction Execution in which a CMc contractor will be selected based on Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) bid on 95% design drawings; the CMc contractor will work with the Government to finalize the schedule, design, and estimate. Construction Management Services include: document control, change order management, pay applications processing, field inspections, labor standards interviews, daily reports and schedule review.
Project Description: CMc Kickoff meeting and 95% Design Review held; meeting held to discuss LEED possibilities; A/E working on Final Design document;GSA awarded CMa contract; CMa project initiation was set up during this quarter.
