Award Description: There are 3 projects under the Capital Fund Recovery Program. These projects are Exterior Painting, Waterblasting and Roof Coating, and Kitchen Renovation. Of these three projects, at least five contractors were awarded with contracts. The first project, Exterior Painting, was awarded to Asia Pacific International, Inc., for 250 units in the amount of $277,446 and to Alcast Paint Company for 83 units in the amount of $94,934. These units are located at various locations around the island. This project is about 56% completed, with an anticipated completion date of February 2010. The second project, Waterblasting and Roof Coating, was awarded to Asia Pacific International, Inc., for 285 units in the amount of $1,332,650 and to P&E Construction Inc. for 28 units in the amount of $89,618.23. The third project, Kitchen Renovation, was awarded to Mega United Corp. for 300+ units in the amount of $1,059,300 of which $189,520.77 is funded through this ARRA grant.
