Award Description: This project investigates a novel solar cell design that uses lattice-matched semiconductor materials. The key innovation of this project is to monolithically integrate the materials to build many junctions without generating misfit dislocations to reach ultrahigh efficiency. After the successful development of the materials and demonstration of prototype devices, the technology will be transferred to companies for further product development and commercialization.'
