Award Description: Recovery - Repair Energy Cool Roof B8352. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and transportation to perform all work in accordance with the requirements specified in the scope of work. The work consists of, but not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to replace the existing gravel ballast built-up roof of building 8352. Remove existing gravel ballast from the built-up roofing system (BUR). Install tapered insulation on top of the existingBUR system to provide a minimum slope of 1/2:12 to the roofing system. Install 2 1/2' polyisocyanate insulation on addition portion of facility vise tapered insualtion and install new pre-finished coping (Redwood color). Install 1/4' dens deck roofing board in top of the tapered insualtion. Install a PVC single-ply membrane roofing system. Replace metal flashings, gutters, downspouts, and drip edges. All metal shall be prefinished Redwood in color with the exception of downspouts, which shall be Marble Cream in color. Paint equipment and unfinished materials on roof Marble Cream in color. This facility is located at Edwards Air Force Base, California.
