Award Description: TO 0002 Mission Bay Eelgrass Survey: Field investigation, laboratory testing, and report preparation for defined portions of the Corps of Engineers? Mission Bay Harbor Maintenance Dredging Project (Corps project) to include: vibratory coring sampling, beach transect sampling, bulk sediment chemistry, geotechnical testing, eelgrass surveys and mapping, and reports. TO 0003 Los Angeles-Long Beach Harbors - San Pedro Breakwater Comprehensive Condition Surveys: Prepare the Comprehensive Condition Survey Report for the San Pedro Breakwater. Collect and review available surveys and relevant design memoranda and reports; conduct physical field surveys; develop design conditions; evaluate the functionality and engineering effectiveness of the existing breakwater; and prepare a risk and reliability analysis for future functionality. TO 0005 SAMP EIS/EIR San Diego?Otay: Preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) for Otay River Watershed (Watershed) in San Diego County. TO 0006 EIS/EIR Riverside County SAMP: Preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)/Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for a Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) for the San Jacinto River Watershed and the Upper Santa Margarita River Watershed (Study Area) in Western Riverside County.
Project Description: TO 0002 Mission Bay Eelgrass Survey: This quarter all field work and reports were completed: sediment sampling and analysis, eel grass surveys and mapping; DMMP meeting attended and final reports submitted to Corps in September. TO 0003 Los Angeles-Long Beach Harbors - San Pedro Breakwater Comprehensive Condition Surveys: Work commenced in this quarter included data collection, and physicl field condition survey using multi-beam sonar and laser scanining system for hyrdorgraphic and topographic surveys, and a side scan survey for additional detail fo the breakwater. TO 0005 SAMP EIS/EIR San Diego ? Otay: Task awarded September 14, 2009. Plan of Action is under development. TO 0006 EIS/EIR Riverside County SAMP: Task awarded September 14, 2009. Plan of Action is under development.
