Award Description: A/E Services to convert a 4,000 SF gymnasium to classroom space. The new 100 person classroom will support training operations of the NFATC. Data drops and power will be provided for laptop interface for all of the students. The deliverable schedule includes the following submissions and dates: Space Planning on October 30, 2009; 65% Construction Documents on December 4, 2009; 100% Construction Documents on January 8, 2010; Bid Documents on January 22; Construction Award on March 5, 2010 and Occupancy on July 9, 2010.
Project Description: Survey existing conditions, generate CAD backgrounds, develop and submit space planning designs. Investigate existing structural systems to evaluate the change of use from a gymnasium to classroom use. Develop 65% construction document package including specifications and anticipated construction costs.
