Award Description: Caldera Pharmaceuticals will complete the necessary steps to commercialize its XRflo system. In Phase I we demonstrated the feasibility of this technique to measure unlabeled protein interactions in a fluidic system. XRflo allows for real-time, direct, label-free, quantitative, fluidic analysis of protein function. This project addresses fundamental challenges in proteomics. The goal of Phase II is to extend XRflo analysis to significantly more complex systems (including clinical specimens) and to prepare steps for commercialization of the instrument, device, software, and consumables.
