Award Description: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, shovel-ready activities that create or help maintain jobs; capital improvements to housing authority units, buildings and grounds to comply with Housing Quality Standards and continue providing safe, sanitary and affordable living to low-income families.
Project Description: Replaced 18 Heating and Air Units, Re-carpeted 8 units, overlay kitchen vct in 6 units and 1 community center, placed fire extinguishers in 120 units, painted enterior of 8 elderly units, exterior paint on trim of 26 units, vented bathroom for heat in 70 units, placed exhause fans in bathroom of 70 units, installed porch lights on 120 units.
