Award Description: TOA Code: 538 Water Distribution System Upgrades. Much of the water supply is contaminated. Many of the users have inadequate water pressure, hampering fire protection. Rural Development funds will be used to make water distribution system upgrades in order to alleviate health concerns and improve water protection. The project consists of the rehabilitation of their water storage tank, 555 new water service meters, hydrants and water main.
Project Description: Project funded and is currently in the design stages.
Infrastructure Description: Project will result in replacment of aged water lines and realted service equipment. Additionally, project will place water meters on all services as a means to promote conservation of water resources.
