Award Description: Educational Technology State Grants to States to improve student academic achievement through the innovative use and the effective integration of new and emerging technology with teacher training, curriculum development, and successful research-based instructional methods in elementary and secondary schools.
Project Description: The Florida Department of Education is anticipating that 50% of the available funds will be distributed by formula and 50% will be allocated through the competitive process. Although a final decision has yet to be made, the pending recommendation is that the priority established for the competitive funds will be middle-grade science.
