Award Description: Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing
Project Description: A subgrantee contract was awarded to our local Community Action agency. The contract was executed on 9/16/09. One family was assisted with prevention rental assistance. One lead inspection was conducted. Admin costs were incurred.
Jobs Summary: 1 FTE prevention case manager 1 FTE re-housing case manager The re-housing case manager position is one of five positions. 1 FTE was retained due to the HPRP funding. The second FTE is the prevention case manager and this is a newly created position through the HPRP. Both of these positions are budgeted for three years although this will be reevaluated based on how quickly the rent assistance is provided in years one and two. Both positions provide living wage jobs. Community Action, our subgrantee, is using CSBG-R funding to support the HPRP funding (partnering ARRA $) and those newly created positions are being reported by Community Action for CSBG-R. (Total jobs reported: 2)
