Project Description: Provided mobile outreach clinics throughout State of Ohio. They were designed to educate and empower vulnerable(elderly, low-Income, and limited english )populations to be prepared for the digital television transition. Clinics included hands on demonstrations on how to install DTV converter box, technical support to address antenna/reception issues as well as answered various consumers inquiries Implemented marketing/outreach campaign.
Jobs Summary: Project Director-Track and oversee all aspects of projects and senior staff to ensure deliverables are met and within budgetary and time parameters. Communicate and furnish requested information to FCC upon request. Director of Outreach-Solicit participation in mobile clinic or related activity from various Community Based Organizations, Public Officials, and various organizations Site Coordinator-Book and coordinate participants and organizations to attend mobile clinics. DTV Installation Technicians-provide consumers with technical assistance as how to use/install DTV box. Educate consumers on potential issues. Field Managers-Hire, train, and manage installation technicians and support staff, supervise daily operations of region, submit daily reports. Assist Field Managers-Assist Field Managers with coordinating all activities related to operation of mobile clinics. Customer support specialist-answer calls on DTV phone hotline from consumers inquiring about locations of mobile clinics, general questions in regards to the transition, and troubleshooting assistance with minor technical issues. Executive Assistant-Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry with daily reports, answering phone, filing, payroll, making copies, misc. duties as assigned. Trainer-provide technical assistance to potential employees.
