Award Description: Motor Bus/Demand response vehicles and related equipment
Project Description: The grant has allowed YMPO to order 28 Bus shelters. Received 20/installed 13 bus shelters. Retrofit one existing bus w/camera/pa system/destination signs, with 5 more to be retrofitted. Ordered/received/paid for ADA tracking software. Ordered 8-34 passng buses, 3-10 passenger demand response buses,5 demand response vans, p/a systems, camera systems, smart card systems to retrofit 6 buses. This will allow our transit agency to provide the public with safe & reliable transportation and more accessible for people with diabilities
