Award Description: Roof replacement on 31 buildings at various housing estates; renovation of 163 units and respective offices, common areas, and site work at various estates to meet UFAS requirements under the VCA; renovation of 118 long standing vacant housing units at nine estates; renovations of seven vacant homes; Renovate and enlarge community center at Woodhill Estate; Upgrade electrical feeder systems at 10 buildings at Outhwaite Homes Estate; Construction activities for the redevelopment of Garden Valley Estate; Demolition of one existing building and the construction of one new three-story apartment building at Outhwaite Homes Estate; Renovation of existing housing units at Willson Family Estate; Architectural and Engineering services required for the renovation of housing units, offices and common areas to meet UFAS requirements under the VCA; Architectural and Engineering services required for renovation of vacant units, existing units, and homes; Architectural and Engineering services for construction of new buildings; Architectural and Engineering services required for replacement of roofs.
Project Description: (1) 38 units were completed and certified at eight estates for interior renovations to meet UFAS requirements under the VCA including accessibility plan reviews and A/E services; (2) Site work was completed and certified at Fairway Manor to meet UFAS requirements; (3) roof replacement at Springbrook is 33% complete; (4) installation of sanitary line at King Kennedy Estate is complete; (5) Carver Park: accessibility plan review completed; A/E services for the interior renovations to meet UFAS requirements is 90% complete; A/E services for the interior renovations of vacant units is 88% complete; (6) Outhwaite Homes: A/E services for interior renovations of 35 vacant units is 80% complete; A/E services for electrical upgrade at Bldg 4 is 60% complete; A/E services for design of Bldg 3 is complete; A/E services for roof replacement is 22% complete; (7) A/E Services for: design of Woodhill community center is 30% complete; design for roof replacement at Scranton Castle is 50% complete; roof replacement at Olde Cedar is 10% complete; roof replacement at Wade Park is 60% complete; interior renovation for vacant units at Willson is 60% complete; roof replacement at West Blvd is 42% complete; interior renovation for vacant units at Olde Cedar is 60% complete; (8) Projects recently started: A/E services for interior renovations of vacant units at King Kennedy; A/E services for modifications to Lakeview High Rise to meet UFAS requirements under the VCA; Construction site work at King Kennedy North High Rise, Euclid Beach, Riverside Park, and Carver Park to meet UFAS requirements under the VCA; Construction work for the interior renovations for 10 units at Carver Park to meet UFAS requirements under the VCA.
