Award Description: This funding will provide jobs for construction workers, plumbers, landscaping, sheet rockers, roofers and general laborors. This funding will be used to update our units and will allow older units to be more competitive with new modernization.
Project Description: Projects included renovation of 2 new damaged roofs on 2 buildings. This included 4 units total. 2 new ceilings in 2 units that were damaged have been replaced. Ceilings in units also had insulation added to make units for energy efficient. Our property is older and needs updates and modernization to the property in order to compete with more updated units in the area. Renovations to our units have begun taking place and will continue. Site improvement trimming shrubs, trees, and bushes. Shuttes to all 50 units for renovation and site improvement. Concrete sidewalks took the place of some of the older outdated materials being used. This is for safetly issues and REAC inspections. AC unit cover for protection and safety.
