Award Description: The award will provide funding for planning and implementing workshops and other supporting activities associated with the Political Networks Conferences in 2009, 2010, and 2011, including funding for approximately 40 graduate and assistant professor fellowships for attending the workshops. The 2009 Conference was held at Harvard on June 11-13, 2009, and the 2010 Conference is being planned at Duke University on May 20-22, 2010. Funding activities will primarily occur as reimbursements in the summer following each conference.
Project Description: We have provided workshops at the Political Network Conference at Harvard University on June 11-13 2009. The grant paid for 11 graduate student and assistant professor travel grants for a total of $ 6,175.00, which is currently being processed. Planning is proceeding for the 2010 conference that will be held at Duke University on May 20-22, 2010.
