Award Description: This project will restore riverine ecosystem conditions (i.e., fish passage, instream spawning and nursery habitat, intertidal wetlands, water quality, sediment transport, etc.) to the Winnicut River watershed by removing the head-of-tide, Winnicut Dam (last remaining mainstem barrier) and installing a run-of river fish pass structure under the Rt. 33 bridge.
