Award Description: COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH: EXPLORING THE CHEMICAL REACH OF THE MADDEN-JULIAN OSCILLATION: SATELLITE/IN-SITU DATA ANALYSIS AND CHEMISTRY/TRANSPORT MODEL
Project Description: PI will provide expertise in the observation, theory, and analysis aspects of the MJO covention and dynamics. The PI will also provide extensive experience of satellite data analysis and deep knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of satellite data through his close collaboration with the satellite instrument teams at JPL and GSFC. Responsibilitites include overall project management and carrying out satellite, in-situ and model data analyses and comparison.
