Award Description: Section 8 Rental Assistance
Project Description: Housed seventy (70) HUD income eligible seniors, provided on-site social services including referral for health and mental health services, provided links for community help agencies, counseling and help to seniors needing assisted housing
Jobs Summary: Nine FT positions were retained. PROJECT MANAGR - Responsible for HUD tenant selection, implements HUD housing and occupancy procedures and services, staff supervision, building maintenance management, electronic tenant data reporting. SERVICE COORDINATOR - provides a gamut of services to tenants with their consent including benefit assistance, referrals, crisis intervention. CUSTODIANS - Daily janitorial, preventive maintenance, tenant work orders, decorating and preparing vacant units for occupancy. Security guards - 24 hour service, 365 days per year. OFFICE MANAGER - Bookkeeping services, prepares payroll and process account payables, clerical, reviews and prepares internal project operation reports (Total jobs reported: 9)
