Award Description: Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program: the purpose is to provide financial assistance and services to either individuals or families from becoming homeless to be quickly re-housed and stabilized. Pontiac expects to serve 200 households in the first year.

Project Description: The City plans to use HPRP funds for both homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing activities. Pontiac has allocated funds to four subgrantees that reach into our communities. The City has partnered with the Continuum of Care to create a standardized process for intake of clients so that eligible clients can access resources quickly and seamlessly.
