Award Description: Financial assistance and services to prevent homelessness and help those experiencing homelessness to be rapidly re-housed and stabilized.
Project Description: Twenty-three projects have been contracted to provide homelessness prevention assistance and services and re-housing and stabilization services for the homeless. Homelessness prevention will provide decent, affordable housing for individuals and families, measured by housing affordability. Rapid re-housing will provide homeless assistance to create a suitable living environment for individuals and families, measured by availability/access to housing. To date, 354 persons in 155 households have received homelessness prevention assistance. 122 persons in 72 households have received homeless assistance.
