Award Description: This award is helping MVIC infuse $3,000,000 into the local agricultural economy and will significantly improve overall water management and water conservation. Along with boosting the economy the project will reduce the salinity contributions to the Colorado River. The reduction is anticipated to result in an annual reduction of approximately 953 tons of salt in the Colorado River.
Project Description: To get design stages, wetland and storm water studies completed. Ordering of materials, beginning of pipe deliveries, surveys and stationing marked out.
Jobs Summary: Equipment operators, laborers. For this quarter there will not be much to report due to we haven't received the go ahead to actually move dirt. We have been in the planning and survey stages. We are in hopes to be able to start actually digging by the 1st of November. (Total jobs reported: 0)
