Award Description: Highway Infrastructure Investment - Highway resurfacing - From funding available for use in any Area (flexible)
Project Description: This resurfacing project will bring this roadway to a state of good repair. It addresses pavement deficiencies with an asphalt overlay. As of September 30, asphalt milling of top 2' had been completed, involving removal of 15,000 tons of millings (stockpiled at 7 storage sites for future projects). Milling of the bottom 2' and replacement with 2' of asphalt surfacing also had been completed, with 15,634 tons of SPR Asphaltic Concrete produced.
Infrastructure Description: This project invests in transportation infrastructure to create jobs, promote economic recovery, and provide long-term economic benefits for the area and for the state's transportation network, by bringing this roadway to a state of good repair
