Award Description: Funds to purchase eight defibrillators, three radios, one Modis Scanner, Transit software, and GPS for Ashland Bus System.
Project Description: Purchased and installed eight defibrillators in buses and Transportation Center. Three radios were received and put into service. One Modis scanner was purchased and installed at garage. Para Transit software was installed. Payment not complete. Scheduled GPS software installation.
Infrastructure Description: The funds alloted are a investment in the local transportation system. The AShland Bus Systems provides transportation for many low income who would not have transportation if our service was not available. Transporation allows these individuals to commute to work and doctor appointments.
