Award Description: The Acquarius project is being implemented jointly between NASA and the Aregentina Comision Nacional de Actividades Espaciales (CONAE) project Satelite de Aplicaciones Cientificas, flight D (SAC-D). This joint undertaking is referred to as the Acquarius/SAC-D mission. JPL is responsible for managing the project during the formulation and implementation phase through launch and in-orbit checkout (Phase B/C/D). Under this award, JPL is coordinating with CONAE for the implementation phase of the mission. JPL's significant deliverables include meetings and reviews to provide updates and status, technical and programtic interchange, and to demonstrate readiness for hand-over of the Acquarius instrument for service platform integration including a Bench Acceptance Test provision of end-user data product to CONAE.
