Award Description: The CIP will provide needed improvements including renovations and needed equipment needed to provide quality care as well as the replacement of an existing site with construction of a new site;the purchase of IT equipment and the pruchase and implementation of an Electronic health records at all sites.
Project Description: This reporting period, we focused our efforts on: meeting with city agencies to finalize the acquisition of land for the new health center; for the EHR, work on the project development to ensure the EHR selected will meet present and future needs; for the alterations/renovations & repairs, using the plan completed, identification of the most reasonable price for each improvement; and the completion of the plan and initiated the use of steps to ensure the selection of IT equipment that best addresses our needs now and in the future.
