Award Description: A ceiling lifts system will be installed in the nursing care buildings at King Veterans Home. The lift system mounted on the ciling will be insalled in many existing resident rooms. This state-of-the-art mobile system will allow for a much easier method of repositioning and transferring residents. This system is expected to have a positive effect on reducing back injuries among nursing staff.
Project Description: The WI Dept of Veterans Affairs will use Recovery Act funding as awarded to offset costs incurred by the State as the project is completed.
