Award Description: B cell signatures in SLE - Justification: Provide the best and most extensive clinical and immunological characterization of any Lupus cohort and will extend the ACE studies. Longitudinal 2-year follow-up of 250 Lupus patients (3x/year for a total of 1,500 samples collected and analyzed over 2 years). These will be Hopkins patients to take advantage of Michelle's Petri's cohort with long and comprehensive past clinical data. It will also include the prospective longitudinal follow-up in similar fashion of the 80 patients that we proposed to analyze only cross-sectionally in the ACE proposal (500 additional samples over 2 years). Combined, these studies will provide the best and most extensive clinical and immunological characterization of any Lupus cohort and will extend the ACE studies.
