Award Description: This award is an administrative supplement to RO1 NS025044. It provides funds to support the salary (and associated benefits, plus some supply costs) for a UC Davis postdoctoral fellow in my laboratory for 2 years, to accelerate the studies we are carrying out on the role of glutamatergic signaling on the fates of oligodendroglial progenitors during normal development and during the course of the multiple sclerosis model, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis.

Project Description: The funds provided by this administrative supplement grant first became available for our use in early September, 2009, and expenditures are just now commencing.
