Award Description: Assist in operating statewide comprehensive, coordinated, effective, efficient and accountable programs of vocational rehabilitation, which are an integral part of a statewide workforce investment system, and designed to assess, plan, develop, and provide vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with disabiliteis, consistent with their strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice, so that such individuals may prepare and engage in gainful employment.

Jobs Summary: This position provides direct, accurate, and comprehensive benefits planning using parameters established by SSA Work Incentives programs, assistance, management and follow-up to SSI recipients and SSDI beneficiaires referred by the Division as well as Medicare parts A & B and Medicaid continuation coverage consultation. This position also has the following responsibilities: consultation concerning continuation of benefits when consumers return to work; ensure awareness and education of benefits services to all referred SSI and SSDI consumers (and or their guardian) age 14 to 64 in the State; provide in-depth, accurate, and comprehensive benefits planning tailored to individual employment choices and goals; provide assistance with completion of all necessary documentation required by SSA for referred consumers to partiicpate in Work Incentive programs; provide assistance and maintenance of benefits planning to include scheduled follow-up.
