Award Description: The purpose is to provide development and modifications to the redesigned Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program Budget and Expenditure System (MBES\CBES) due to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) legislation. Over the past several years, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has encountered sweeping changes in the health care delivery system through legislative mandates that have impacted most of the Medicaid data collections systems. These legislative mandates have required CMS to constantly modify these mandated data collection systems in a short turnaround time. Expected outcomes from DCCA's efforts are - Enhancements\modifications to MBES\CBES due to the ARRA legislation , Develop requirement specification documents and program code for system modifications , Conduct validation of all programming changes , Implement enhancements and modifications , and Section 508 Federal Law system compliance . Significant deliverables are listed in Section C.14 of the task order. The units of measure are due dates and project schedules.
