Award Description: Overall contract is to complete the design and construction of the core and shell of the new U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters facility in Washington DC. The shell structure will be 90% concrete and 10% steel. The interior space is 30% closed offices with 70% open space. The ARRA funded CLIN's are as follows: CLIN 0001 Infrastructure - PG2/USCG and Central Utility portion of the telecomm, electrical PG2/USCG portion of the telecomm, electrical feeds, switchgear, natural gas, water distribution systems, sanitary, storm water management, access road, historical landscape features and soil remediation and infrastructure design funds. CLIN 0002 Development - PG1/Daycare facility/Central Utility Plant/Building Design A/E Fee. CLIN 0003 Security/IT/Electrical Upgrades.
