Award Description: The Robert A. Young Building is a high rise historic brick strucutre approximately 1 million square foot in size, housing 3000 tenants. The existing cafeteria kitchen, dish room, servery, and dining area have become outdated, and much of the equipment is aging with high energy consumption. This work is being performed under the 'Building Tune-up, Lighting Replacement, Building HVAC Systems and Energy Saving' categories as defined in the ARRA descriptions of High Performance Building Improvements.
