Award Description: ARRA Supplemental Funding for the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF): Provide child care financial assistance to low-income working families and fund activities to improve the quality of child care.
Project Description: To administer, through the Texas workforce system and Local Workforce Development Boards (Boards)- a child care service delivery system that supports employers by subsidizing child care services for low-income families. Child care services promote long-term self-sufficiency by enabling parents to work or attend workforce training or education activities.
