Award Description: This grant provided a summer research experience for Sameep Chandrani who is currently a junior undergraduate student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey. The overall purpose and expected outcomes included acceleration of the pace of research in the lab, training for Sameep and encouragement toward a scientific career and contribution to the US economic stimulus by promoting job creation.
