Award Description: 'Recovery' Replace Roof at Building 1889
Project Description: 'Replace Roof' Replace deteriorated wood framing, cants, curbs, blocking, nailers, sleepers, edge strips using treated wood replacement. Replace gravel stop, replace aluminum counterflashing, replace gutter with straps and fasteners assembly and expansion joints. Replace fascia, replace parapet coping, conceal fasteners and caulk joints. Remove & install new cast iron roof drain with sump, deck clamp and strainer. Install insulation board, install tapered insulation board. Remove & replace bituminous flashing, Provide & install new expansion joint, remove miscellaneous abondoned support structure, brackets, framing support and abandoned pitchpocket. Replace pitchpocket, relash roof stack, install lead plumbing stack flashing install sevice walkways/pads. Provide and install fascia/trim/cap flashing. Repace wood trim, framing, board sheeting/fascia. Reemove existing one or two layers of roofing system. Provide and install three plies of MBSR. Remove & replace worn out screws or fasteners with new. Provide & install metal to cover abandoned roof deck opening or abondoned penetrations.
