Award Description: The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to construct water distribution and services piping at CCAFS at the end of SR 405, north of Port Canaveral. We will be required to furnish and install a functional underground potable water distribution system with system appurtenances such as isolation valves, fire hydrant and assemblies. Also, tie-ins to the existing water system in several locations will require the removal of transite pipe (asbestos-cement pipe), removal and working with transite pipe will require specifically trained and currently certified personnel to perform this work, existing potable water services will be removed for the existing water distribution system and transferred to the new water distribution system, testing of the water systems and verification of agency permit compliance will be required; site restoration will include asphalt pavement, concrete walks, sod, and seed/mulch.
Project Description: We have completed 2,000 LF of 5,500 LF of new 12' water main on this project.
