Award Description: Energy Independence & Recovery Act 2007 - the development and implementation of comprehensive community based energy efficiency and conservation programs for residential and commercial structures. To increase participation and efficiency rates for material conservation programs.
Project Description: No projects have begun. Project description, as outlined in grant agreement: 1) Development and implementation of an energy efficiency and conservation strategy 2) Residential and commercial building energy audits 3) Development and implementation of energy efficiency and conservation programs for buildings and facilities within the jurisdiction of the eligible entity 4) Activities to increase participation and efficiency rates for material conservation programs, including source reduction, recycling, and recycled content procurement programs that lead increase in energy efficiency.
