Award Description: Our Energy Strategy submitted with the EECBG committed to the following: 1. Retrofit the 52 Individual Air Conditioning Units in City Hall with one efficient Cooling Tower via Energy Services Company (ESCO) ($818.8K) 2. Retrofit City Streetlights with more efficient fixtures, possibly LED via ESCO ($178.1K) 3. Reserved funds to pursue additional state or Federal Grant funds ($27.5K) 4. Urban Planning Study to research ways to re-deploy rapid transit in City's major traffic corridors ($13.8K)
Project Description: Grant funds will be used to augment Energy , Water, and Wastewater Performance Savings Contract to hire services of an ESCO.
Infrastructure Description: Projects will create jobs, reduce energy consumption and reduce carbon footprint.
