Award Description: PD 04-7374 - DEB - Revisionary Syntheses in Systematics (REVSYS) - Systematic Biology and Biodiversity Inventories
Project Description: The primary activity in the research just initiated has been to preserve DNA from cultured symbiotic gut fungi (trichomycetes) in CTAB buffer in order to prepare specimens for DNA sequencing. In addition, several basic files (database, interactive keys, world literature) have been updated on the trichomycetes web page (www.nhm.ku.edu/~fungi).
