Award Description: Conduct characterization and remediation activities for seven known areas where bomblet testing was done at the Tonopah Test Range at Corrective Action Unit 408 Bomblet Target Area. Conduct characterization and remediation activities at Soils Corrective Action Unit 367 Area 10 Sedan, Ess, & Uncle Unit Craters; Corrective Action Unit 374 Area 20 Schooner Unit Crater; Corrective Action Unit 375 Area 30 Buggy Unit Craters; and Corrective Action Unit 106 Areas 5, 11 Frenchman Flat Atmospheric Sites. Provide support for the accelerated installation of one groundwater monitoring well in Corrective Action Unit 102 Western Pahute Mesa for the Underground Test Area project.
