Award Description: The Pulaski County, MO Sheriff's Dept. will hire two (2) Dispatchers and one (1) Evidence Technician. This grant will allow for much needed manpower in our Dispatch Office. In addition, the Evidence Technician is pivotal for our planned HIDTA interdiction program.
Project Description: The Dispatch Office was understaffed and this grant will provide more adequate staffing. The hiring of an Evidence Technician will provide for one individual to be responsible for all evidence needed in future Court cases.
Jobs Summary: Two (2) Dispatchers willl be hired for the Sheriff's Department, as well as, one (1) Evidence Technician who will handle all evidence for prosecution. The increased manpower in our Dispatch Office will allow more flexibility in this office. The Evidence Technician will be responsible for all evidence required for criminal prosecution. At this time, the County has not hired any personnel against this grant. (Total jobs reported: 0)
