Award Description: TVHC, Inc. has been awarded two grants under the ARRA program. The first grant is an 'Increased Demand for Services' (IDS)grant for $261,586. TVHC is using these funds to pay for one Nurse Practitioner, and to pay for some of the cost of an LCSW to provide integrated mental health care services to our patients. The second ARRA grant award is a 'Capital Improvement Program' (CIP) award. We have not yet implemented the projects that we plan to carry out with these funds. We plan to begin implementation before the year is out. We will do capital repairs and maintenance projects, and upgrade our IT systems.
Project Description: With this funding, we hired a Family Nurse Practitioner who provides services to adults and children. We are also paying for some of the cost of an LCSW who provids on site, bilingual mental health care services to patients referred to her by our medical providers.
Jobs Summary: This funding has enabled TVHC, Inc. to hire one full time Nurse Practitioner. It also pays for the partial cost of an LCSW. We anticipate that these funds will pay for the entire cost of the LCSW starting in the spring of 2010. (Total jobs reported: 1)
